Following its introduction at Productronica, Frontline PCB Solutions is presenting e–quote to the US market at IPC Expo. A cost–based quotation package for PCB manufacturers. e–quote provides quotations for instant transmission to customers through the Internet, based on rules–driven accurate costing.
e–quote's accurate costing is achieved using two methods: applying cost factors to production simulations created by e–quote, and the automatic retrieval of product variables through a seamless integration with Frontline's Genesis 2000 CAM analysis package. e–quote also allows flexible use of costing models to accommodate market changes.
“The main strength of this tool is its combination of automation and simplicity” says Uri Feldman, Frontline's president. “Using a simple setup procedure, e–quote's intelligent engine takes into account a full spectrum of cost factors, and provides accurate quotations swiftly.”
e–quote provides an automatic, accurate and immediate product costing and sale price quotation. It empowers the sales team and improves its productivity, enabling real competitiveness while ensuring profit margins.
e–quote is the first product to be launched from Frontline's engineering product line. Frontline recently purchased UK–based Prestim Computers Ltd. as part of a strategic plan to enter the field of process planning and sales quotation in the PCB Industry.
