DDi Europe has acquired Kamtronics Limited. The terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Kamtronics will be merged with one of DDi Europe's six subsidiaries, DDi International. The new combined company will be known as DDi International, boasting a combined turnover of £25m, and becomes the largest time-to-volume PCB supplier in Europe.

Established in 1993, Kamtronics has almost 10 years experience in all aspects of PCB supply chain management, and provides a seamless PCB service to a longstanding European customer base, encompassing purchasing, engineering, order logistics management, quality control and product stocking. Through its close partnerships with a stable number of specialist best-in-class manufacturers in South East Asia – each selected to fulfill a different part of the supply chain with regard to technology or volumes – Kamtronics has the ability to source all its customers' PCB requirements with an impressive 99.95 per cent right-first-time quality record.

The acquisition of Kamtronics provides DDi with a team of 30 talented professionals with over 400 years PCB experience in logistics management. Through a closely managed and jointly owned integration plan, DDi International, currently based in Tewkesbury (Gloucestershire, UK), will be consolidated into Kamtronics' existing, modern and well equipped offices and warehouses in Calne (Wiltshire, UK).
