Dr Yun Zhang appointed research director, Enthone Inc.
Enthone Inc. has appointed Dr Yun Zhang Research Director (see Plate 6). Dr Zhang will lead the global R&D and product formulation activities of the company's tin, tin alloy and lead-free technologies. She will be located at Enthone's Surface Analysis and Materials Property Laboratory (SAMPL) in Jersey City, New Jersey and at the company's Orange, Connecticut Research Center

Dr Yun Zhang
Prior to joining Enthone, Dr Zhang was the Research Director, Tin and Tin Alloy Technologies at Technic Inc. Before that, Dr Zhang was an R&D Manager with the former Electroplating Chemicals & Services division of Lucent Technologies (EC&S). While at EC&S, she was primarily responsible for the development of Lucent tin, tin/lead and lead-free plating processes. A highlight of her career was the award of the prestigious ATP/NIST grant for developing lead-free solder electroplating technologies utilizing spectroelectrochemistry.
