LAMAR are no longer the official distributor for Isola in the UK market. However, they will continue to supply the full range of Isola base materials until 31st March and in order to support their regular customers and their contract commitments they will purchase some base materials from Isola in the future.
Lamar will continue to distribute base materials to PCB manufacturers, the new base material suppliers will be:

Nelco for Multilayer standard and high performance products;
- •
Matsuishita for rigid, multilayer and products for special applications; and
- •
Shanghai-Nanya for rigid.
Both Nelco and Matsuishita are members of the CCIL programme and therefore, UL approvals should be a simple exercise, in which LAMAR will assist in the paperwork and cost of this process.
Stock from the new suppliers will be in place in January 2005 and technical advice and support will be available from Technical Manager Geoff Layhe together with the Technical Managers of the new suppliers.
