DK Thermal Solutions Ltd, the UK’s premier supplier of thermal PCBs for the lighting, automotive and power industries has further strengthened its team with the appointment of a new LED Business Manager to help develop business within both domestic and global marketplaces.

DK Thermal Solutions Ltd supplies thermally managed PCBs and benefits from sales operations in Europe, the USA and Asia; with main production facilities situated in Hertford, UK.

Recently, appointed Iric Yodts (Figure 1) brings to the role 10 years experience working within the LED lighting industry of which 10 years has been spent involved in semiconductors, 7 in high-brightness LEDs, 4 in high-powered LEDs and the last 2 years in turnkey LED solutions.

Having spent the last 10 years working for Young Electronics as Divisional Manager Opto, UK; technically educated Iric, fluent in both French and Spanish, boasts a French degree in high-powered electronics and electrical machines.

In his new role, Iric will be responsible for working with LED manufacturers, LED users and thermal laminate manufacturers to identify and provide solutions for existing and potential customer’s current and future LED needs. Furthermore, and due to Iric’s substantial knowledge of the industry and wealth of experience; he will also work to understand and influence the development of solutions for the industry as a whole.

Iric Yodts said – “I believe that DK Thermal have an excellent reputation as a metal clad PCB specialist in the UK and I am hoping to re-affirm our presence into the rapidly expanding high-power LED market. I am confident that my expertise will be drawn upon by my colleagues in Europe and North America.”
