Purpose – describes the computer system that Nando’s a fast food chain that is rapidly expanding its operations in the UK, has installed to manage its training. Design/methodology/approach – details the selection, installation and operation of the computer system. Sets out the advantages of the new system, discussing the aspects of training management that it handles and the efficiencies and savings that have been gained. Findings – underlines the success of the new computer system. Originality/value – profiles the experience of Nando’s of buying, installing and operating a new computer system for training management.ISSN: 1465-6523
