In the second of a three-part series on action learning, discusses how to use it to support the continuing development of professionals. Looks at this in the context of outsourcing professionals, describing an action learning programme developed for the National Outsourcing Association. Sets out how the programme was developed, pointing out that there was no established body of knowledge related to outsourcing which could be drawn on. Explains the nature of the outsourcing profession, offers examples of the action learning questions that were developed in the action learning discussions, and describes how the programme now leads to a professional award from the National Outsourcing Association.
