It includes information about the office, notices about the ongoing changes and modernization of the Weather Service, complete "Disaster Surveys" (evaluations of NWS performance before, during, and following disasters), a list of meetings and conferences, natural hazards statistics, a link to the hurricane watch office, a 1998 disaster map, and a list of the many NWS publications and hazard awareness materials available on-line.
