Innovation in management education
Abstract
The honeymoon in graduate level management education is over and the marital troubles have begun. It has been argued that such troubles stem from the basic incompatibility of the partners — industry and commerce on the one hand and the educational establishments on the other. Equally it might seem that the intransigence of the latter partner is to blame. Certainly there seems to have been little sign of flexibility and adjustment despite persistent criticism not only from the customer organizations but also from a host of ‘marriage counsellors’ via a series of official and semi‐official reports.
