Designing courses for horses in the student stakes
Abstract
If you are not a teacher who likes to run through a course‐book like a railway timetable, generating about the same amount of interest from your students, and if you don't have to follow a pre‐set, hide‐bound examination syllabus, then you will probably want your students to get the maximum amount of benefit in the minimum amount of time. This is particularly important on short intensive courses. This can be done by finding out exactly what the students need and designing your course around those needs.
