Abstract

General Montgomery held the view that, to fight well, his soldiers needed to be well‐informed about their immediate objectives and how they fitted in to his overall strategy. Workers in industry and commerce are engaged in a major battle — a battle for markets, even a battle for survival. And so the Montgomery Principle might well apply to them. Here are some of the points that need to be communicated.
