Abstract

Beyond narrow and short‐term recruitment considerations it is difficult to get a view from industry on its needs for education. It is part of education's role to prepare young people appropriately for their future. To do this adequately education and industry are interdependent and must help each other. The author outlines the forms that this help might take.
