Abstract
Computer‐Aided Design (CAD) is now no longer a novelty. It has been used successfully in many major projects in the United Kingdom and in many parts of the world. The use, for example, of computer graphics has spread rapidly providing the architect and the engineer with a valuable tool. CAD is still bringing fundamental changes to the design of industrial plant.
