Facilities management software
Abstract
Last month we described how applications programs for computer systems could both help and hinder the facilities manager. We said that computerisation can bring worthwhile benefits, but careful thought needs to be put into the system which is best suited to your organisation's requirements. Improving the quality of information finding and decision‐making is more important than making cost savings. We concluded with a series of warnings about the pitfalls that open up before the novice user.
