CORPORATE IDENTITY AND FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
Abstract
Corporate identity has become highly fashionable in the 1980s. Unfortunately, its usefulness to management both as a concept and as a method of determining managerial responsibilities has been limited by some misunderstandings and misinterpretations about the subject. This article seeks to clarify what corporate identity is, how it relates to the management and design of buildings and how facilities managers can play an important part in interpreting and expressing corporate identity.
