Abstract

Introduction This paper discusses the strategy of lease term negotiation having particular regard to the date and character of voluntary improvement expenditures by tenants, and the provisions of the 1954 Landlord and Tenant Act and rent reviews for the period of disregard of improvements when determining open market rent.
