Abstract

John Ward, director of the IBM Havant Plant in the UK outlines a brief history of the Plant's progression in quality improvement since 1981. Critical to this development has been the role of people within IBM audits suppliers. Their involvement and initiative for change has resulted in a highly successful rolling quality improvement programme.
