After Co‐operation—What Next?

Abstract

This article is not intended so much as a criticism of the present position of inter‐library co‐operation and loans as a tentative forecast of the future. Let me also make it clear that, though I have been for a long time a member of the Executive Committee of the National Central Library and also one of the committee responsible for a “regional bureau” system, the views expressed are entirely personal.
