Microrecording in Libraries
Abstract
The appearance of Mr. J. Burkett's pamphlet Microrecording in Libraries provides an incentive to pause to consider the present position of microphotography as a library tool. In his short study Mr. Burkett has succeeded in concentrating much information which has hitherto been scattered in periodicals. He is brief, he is up‐to‐date and comprehensive. He covers forms of microphotographic record, reading machines, publishing facilities and uses. Recourse to his work will often save the necessity to consult such familiar guides as Lewis and Offenhayer or The Manual of Document Reproduction.
