Abstract

Mechanical Engineering Craft Practice 1. IF ONLY because the majority of our future craftsmen in general engineering are, or should be, taking it, the Mechanical Engineering Craft Practice course is an extremely important one. From this course these young men will expect to obtain a high proportion of the technical knowledge which they will need to help them meet the demands of the future. When the proposals of the White Paper on Industrial Training come into effect, we may expect technical studies to be compulsory, indeed they will very probably form a part of the over‐all qualifying procedure. A course of the MECP type is an essential companion to practical training.
