Abstract

Having at one stroke accomplished the biggest revolution in industrial training since the time of the first Elizabeth, the Ministry of Labour is now busy assuring everyone that there is no need for alarm, things will go on just as before. Industry, despite the new Training Boards, will continue to do most of the training, the trade unions will have the same influence, technical colleges will continue to collaborate, and the Ministry of Education will run alongside, perfectly in step.
