Abstract

This year the Association of Technical Institutions held its AGM in the home of the Royal Institute of British Architects in Portland Place, London. It got off to a rattling good start with an address by Lord Bowden, that tousled and lively peer lately let out by Manchester to put the country to rights science‐wise.
