The organizational structure of large colleges of technology
Abstract
In the larger colleges of technology, the fairly rapid increase in the number of students following degree courses and those of comparable level, combined with a greater diversity of such courses, has resulted in the inherent disadvantages in the traditional division of these colleges into departments becoming more apparent. The question is here put as to whether or not the organization of these colleges into departments should be modified to meet the best interests of the students.
