Abstract

Two Architects (b & w, 18 min). The avantgarde design of Leicester University's Department on Engineering building has attracted international acclaim and comment. Because of their work, the architects responsible, James Stirling and James Gowan, won the R. S. Reynolds Memorial Award in 1965, the first time this prize has ever come to Britain.
