Abstract

Directed Private Study (DPS) is the term used to describe courses which link oral and postal tuition and provide continuous tutorial advice. To date, very few centres offer this form of tuition; but there is evidence to suppose that further expansion is likely. For instance, the Business Education Council is interested in making this an available route of study.
