Abstract

A ten‐year strategy to help more disabled people to find jobs has been launched by the Manpower Services Commission in its publication Developing Employment and Training Services for Disabled People — An MSC Programme. It reaffirms the Commission's commitment to provide specialised services which help disabled people to choose, train for, get and keep worthwhile jobs. A key feature is the building up of closer co‐operation between the MSC's disablement resettlement staff and employers to encourage them to develop company policies on the employment of disabled people, providing greater job opportunities and better promotion prospects.
