Abstract

I represent the typical client — a user of interior and graphic design resources for most of my business life and, today, a promoter of contract design products through our Business Design Centre in Islington, North London. I am going to try to illustrate how good designers can become great entrepreneurs by learning how to promote themselves effectively whilst, at the same time, becoming “client friendly”. If you like, it's like blending design mania with marketing mania to find the perfect recipe for success.
