Sell more and sell better with good design
Abstract
The designer needs to have an accurate picture of what the retailer is selling today — and intends to sell tomorrow. He's going to have to know, as well, whether there is likely to be a seasonal change in the size and shape of goods carried. And the designer will probably set his sights on a much broader brief than the retailer originally intended. These are some of the thoughts in David Calcott's address to the one‐day conference “Tomorrow's Interiors”, held in London in March.
