FROZEN ASSETS

Abstract

Christian Salvesen's food services division has identified an area of specialist distribution which is as yet unexploited in certain parts of Europe. The following account is an outline of the company's growth and operation in the cold storage, processing and centralised distribution services, and their recent penetration of the Belgian frozen foods market. It seems that British expertise in centralised distribution and the potential arising from the underdeveloped nature of European frozen foods distribution has left Christian Salvesen with the glow of optimism on its cheeks.
