Abstract

One of the most tedious of office tasks, as every facilities manager knows, is the keeping of accurate records — who occupies what space, which desk or chair is where, and where exactly does that particular cable lead? Even the best managed organisations succeed in keeping only the most basic records, and at the expense of an inordinate number of man hours.
