Abstract

Coachwork Phenolics. Rockite phenolic extrusions are now being extensively employed by a large motor‐body building firm for interior trimming. The extrusions they use have the appearance of polished wood, but do not need painting or polishing. Furthermore, they are far more durable than the wooden materials they replace and, being plastic, are unaffected by any form of corrosive attack with which they are likely to come into contact.
