PROTECTING STEELWORK FROM RUST: RESULTS OF SURFACE TREATMENT TESTS
Abstract
A firm of paint manufacturers have completed an extensive series of tests carried out at their laboratories. The object of these tests was to gauge the efficiency of performance of chemical pretreatment processes on rusted steel prior to application of metal protective primers and thus to discover the desirability or otherwise of their incorporation into protective schemes as a whole.
