CORROSION COMMENTARY

Abstract

BORAX AS ANTI‐FREEZE INHIBITOR. Considerable interest, and discussion, was aroused at the symposium held earlier this year on the Protection of Motor Vehicles from Corrosion when, at the end of a paper on the use of corrosion inhibitors in engine coolants, facts and figures on the use of borax in this role were given from the floor by delegates from Borax Consolidated Ltd.
