CHEMICAL AND PETROLEUM ENGINEERING Corrosion‐resisting Materials Featured at Exhibition

Abstract

Britain's—and possibly the world's—first exhibition of both chemical and petroleum engineering equipment took place recently in London. Nearly three hundred exhibitors showed a wide range of oil‐field equipment, plant for chemical works and petroleum refineries and the ancillary equipment that goes with it. Amongst the mass of exhibits on show were numerous corrosion‐resisting materials and some of these are reviewed below.
