Shot‐blasting in the Shipyard

Abstract

The following article describes the development and application of a new shot‐blasting installation which has been specially designed for use on ships' plates. Corrosion of ships' plates has been a major problem for many years, reducing the overall life of the plates and involving heavy expenditure in repairs and maintenance.
