Abstract

ITALY Corrosion of aluminium and aluman sheets by water containing copper or zinc salts In order to test the performance of aluminium and aluman subjected to the corrosive action of water containing salts of heavy metals, the Research Division of the Light Metals Institute at Novara, Italy, has carried out, since May 1953, a long‐term exposure test with nine combinations of metal sheets. Test arrangements and results are described.
