FLOW‐COAT TECHNIQUE USES EPOXY RESINS AND ZINC CHROMATE

Abstract

A new flow‐coat line capable of applying epoxy‐resin paint or zinc chromate, and able to alternate between the two, has been installed at the Transport Division of the Boeing Airplane Co. Believed to be the first plant in which flow — coat techniques are used with epoxy resins that set at room temperatures, it will be used to protect a wide range of aero parts.
