Abstract

Die Castings and the NPY. Provided that the number of parts required is large enough, the die casting process undoubtedly provides one of the most econonomical and quick methods of production. Parts of most intricate shape can be produced in a matter of seconds, with extreme dimensional accuracy. Of considerable importance is the fact that most, if not all, die casting alloys are non‐corrosive, and that in cases where exceptionally good resistance to wear and corrosion are required the surfaces may be plated.
