Abstract

Dust collector. A dust collector (Fig. 2) said to have an efficiency of 95% has been added to the range of extraction equipment built by a well‐known London firm, and will be available as a standard fitment for all future installations. It comprises a number of elements housed in a fabricated steel body provided with a dust‐collecting hopper, the number of elements varying with the designed capacity. This arrangement is claimed to be 30% more efficient than the normal bag filter system and also very much smaller in dimensions.
