Developments in the use of Rubber for plant linings
Abstract
The past four or five years have seen advances of profound importance in the plant‐lining field, though they have not been of the spectacular kind which achieves immediate and widespread publicity. The flood of new materials which invaded the industry after the war seems for the moment at least to have largely died down. Industry has been given an opportunity to assess existing materials and techniques in the light of hard practical experience, and to find out in some detail just what they will do and what they will not do.
