The CORROSION PROTECTION of the BAC I–II
Abstract
THE BAC I–II is an aircraft which holds particular interest for those concerned with advances in the technology of anti‐corrosion in the mass‐produced vehicles field. Qualifying this last statement, it may be said that although fewer aircraft than cars, lorries, buses, etc., are turned out per model, the techniques involved in protection of aircraft and road vehicles should be—even if they are not—basically similar. That is, what is really required by both types of vehicle is corrosion protection from the design stage onwards.
