Abstract

CDA information sheet No. 42 — High Tensile Brasses. Good combinations of strength, hardness, corrosion resistance, ductility, wear resistance and colour are characteristics of the high tensile brasses. Carefully controlled additions of elements such as manganese, aluminium nickel and lead, produce a range of high tensile brasses with properties to meet the requirements of the end use.
