IMF Annual Awards 1987. The Institute of Metal Finishing held its AGM and Annual Luncheon on Wednesday 11 November in Birmingham. The Hothersall Memorial Lecture was given this year by Mr Tony E. Such B.Sc., C. Chem., FRSC., FIMF, and entitled “The significance of stress in deposited metals”.
