Abstract

The Secretary of State for Social Services, in exercise of his powers under sections 67(1) and 75 of the National Insurance (Industrial Injuries) Act 1965 and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following regulations, which contain no provisions other than such as are made in consequence of the National Insurance Act 1972 and which accordingly by virtue of section 6(5) of, and paragraph 2(1 )(a) of Schedule 4 to, that Act are exempt from the requirements of section 62(2) of the said Act of 1965 (reference to the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council), and which are made in consequence of the said Act of 1972 and which accordingly by virtue of section 6(5) of, and paragraph 2(2)(b) of Schedule 4 to, that Act are exempt from the requirements of section 85(4) of the said Act of 1965 (no regulations to be made wholly or partly by virtue of the provisions of section 75 of that Act unless a draft of the regulations has been approved by resolution of each House of Parliament):—
