Abstract
This paper sets out some general views of online management. It considers the basic concept of management and the resources needed; then, how online services are managed within ICI. It reviews the implications for higher management of online, identifying some familiar problems and some opportunities which are there to be grasped. Finally, it looks at a recent development at ICI Plastics Division, termed Project Radius.
