Abstract

The Mid‐Winter Conference of the American Library Association, held January 9–13, attracted the largest contingent of commercial exhibitors ever. More than 300 firms filled the North Hall of the San Antonio Convention Center, each vying for the attention of 5,000 or so conference attendees. As usual, computer‐related products were offered at every turn.
