An Electric Steelyard Balance: Six‐Component Balance with Remote Autographic Recording Installed in the New D.V.L. Wind Tunnel

Abstract

THE following is a description of the steelyard balance used in the construction of the six‐component balance at the wind tunnel of the German Aeronautical Research Institute (D.V.L.). It is characterised by an unusually high degree of precision.
