Abstract

THE C.A.N.T. Z‐506, constructed by the Cantieri Riuniti Dell'Adriatico of Monfalcone, is the newest commercial type to be placed in service on the over‐water routes of the well‐known Italian Air Line, Ala Littoria. A high‐performance, three‐cngined, low‐wing, twin‐float seaplane, it carries twelve passengers and a crew of four in normal service, and has a range of 1,300 kilometres (800 miles) at cruising speed of 320 k.p.h. (200 m.p.h.).
