British Reports on German Aeroplanes VII. The Dornier Do 217E‐1

Abstract

A GENERAL DESCRIPTION THE machine is a high‐wing monoplane with two B.M.W. 801 enginse and twin fins and rudders. A crew of four is carried, comprising pilot, bomb aimer, top rear gunner‐radio operator and bottom rear gunner. As in the Do 17Z the crew's compartment is entirely forward of the wing leading edge.
