Tools for the Workshop

Abstract

The instrument shown in FIG. 1 has been designed for the accurate projection of the leading edges of scale prototype aerofoils in Research Establishments. It provides an accurate form of the leading edge section magnified twenty times in the direction of airflow on wings having a sweepback from 15–55 deg.
